22r weber carb help needed  Reply with quote

The weber on my 22r always has ran a little bit shitty. I finally started attempting to troubleshoot it and nothing good ever comes out of it.

I have replaced the gaskets on the spacers numerous times to fix vacuum leaks and just recently tried to adjust the idle and idle mixture in the steps redline recommends. I adjust the idle down to one turns and then adjust the idle mixture. But i can bottom out the idle mixture screw and it still runs smooth? wtf?

Anyone have experience with these piles?

Take it off the rig, and get a BFG and smash the shit out of it and throw it in the garbage can. Laughing

They are decent carbs for power, on road. Suck ass offroad, hill climbs or bumpy trails, they just flood.

EFI Swap time!! Twisted Evil

Yep been looking for the past few hours. Gonna rip the whole thing apart tomorrow and rebuild it and see if it makes any difference.

Check their website. IDK if that is the right thing or not, my comps so slow it wont open PDFs.
